About

My name is Brian Pilachowski, a senior designer and 2001 magna- cumlaude graduate of Tyler School of Art with a BFA in graphic design. While at Tyler I learned how to create compelling design solutions in the areas of corporate identities, publishing, advertising, packaging and illustration.

After graduation I was recruited by Hallmark Cards Incorporated. While at Hallmark I was regarded as a self starter and leader. I have been working in Hallmark’s Gift books department for the last 10 years developing adult gift books and kids books. I’m the go to person for last minute product designs, innovation concepts and paper mechanics. I’ve created several new innovations including the It’s A Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown Lighted Pop-up Book and 2017 Kansas City AIGA award.

On top of working at Hallmark, I run Press Monkey Studios. A small screen printing company that produces top quality Kansas City pride artwork and apparel. We sell wholesale through local stores and individually at local events. I also create custom designs for Artisans Incorporated. An apparel company that produces shirts for vacation destinations.

With the training I acquired at Tyler School of Art and the experience I gained through my 17 years of design, I have developed strong design skills to meet your company’s design needs.
